Bavarois aux mangues (bavarois de mangos)







This mango desserts is from mon amie Nadji, of her wonderful french blog : Saveurs et Gourmandises

Ingredients

(4 servings)

2 ripe mangos
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
60  grams sugar
200 ml double cream
3 gelatines leafs or 
1 tablespoon gelatin powder ( or agar agar)

METHOD

Put a bowl in the freeze about 15  minutes.
Put the gelatine to soak 10 minutes in cold water.
Peel the mangoes.
Cut the flesh into cubes turning around the core.
Mix the diced mango by adding lemon juice and half the sugar.
Heat a third of mango coulis.
Add the gelatine.
Stir until the gelatine base totally, otherwise put a few seconds on the fire.
Pour the cream into the ice bowl. Mount whipped the cream at medium speed.
When it begins to set, add the sugar.
Mix  2.3 whipped cream in mango coulis gently.
Pour the mixture into puddings molds or ramekins.
Chill until it takes. 
refrigerate about 4 hours.
When ready to serve.
Turn out gently.
Garnish with whipped cream.

Se ven bastante mangos ahora en las ferias y en el supermercado.
Yo feliz. Me encantan los mangos y se pueden hacer tantas cosas.
 Este bavarois de mangos es de una amiga francesa que hace clases de cocina en Paris.
Ella es encantadora- He hecho varios postres de ella.
Como dice Nadji erste bavarois se puede hacer tambien con otras frutas.

  20. Hi Gloria,we loved this creamy,silky smooth mango bavarois...more so cause it is egg free...we don't consume eggs and have been thinking to try bavarois for some time now...your recipe just solved our problem,thanks so much :-)

    1. Thanks Tammy is curious each country has different seasons to fruits or others.
      Years ago I dont see too much mangoes. But now is usually see in the groceries or supermarket, someones come from Peru and others - In the north we have too, by the weather.
      BTW I buy sometimes in jars or tins to some recipes, and fresh I love how amell!
