This is a simple and delicious recipe (my favorites) and you can make with fresh apricots or an apricots tin, roasted with honey and almonds in slices.
This dessert is adapted from a lovely book
"Mediterranea Food "that was a gift to Christmas of one of my brother in law, thanks Paola and Rodrigo, I love this book.
Ingredients
8 apricots cut in middle
and without seed
4 tablespoons of almond slices
3 tablespoon of honey
1 pinch of ground ginger
(to serve vanilla Ice cream)
Method
Butter a baking dish that will fit in all apricot halves in a single layer.
After placing the apricots in the dish with the cut side up.
Sprinkle with sliced almonds and drizzle with honey.
Preheat oven to 180 ° c.
Bring the power to the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until the apricots are tender and browned almonds.
Remove and serve warm or chill.
Serve with some vanilla ice cream.

DeleteGuess who's last again? Saving the best for...? Hahaha just kidding (no I'm not). But um... you call that 'an easy recipe'? Easy? Are you serious? This is an easy recipe: sit down and ask for the menu. Hahaha you can't go wrong that way unless it's a new restaurant and you're their guinea pig. Any idea what I'm trying to say? I know, what's my point? Well, my point is you're a good cook and I'm hungry. :))
ReplyDeleteLook who come to visit:))
ReplyDeleteyou are welcome lol
Im serious. (sometimes)of course is easy grumpy blue; you put the apricots;the almonds and some honey and all to the oven. and....voila!
guinea pig??uh???sigh!
and you are a funny grumpy:)
I know you're serious. That's why I put you in Santa's rocket sleigh. You see, Gloria, I'm lazy when it comes to cooking. When Angie goes to India I eat in restaurants because I don't want to poison myself haha.
Deleteoh dear I can show you some recipes (EASY) my kids cook LOL
