Dearies this grape sorbet recipe I made last week at the beach (where I spent a few days) I love the relaxation and tranquility, and indeed it was absolutely delicious, and not just my opinion but everyone liked,
Light and refreshing, this sorbet is a delightful way to end a heavy meal. This recipe is adapted from Revista Paula April 2001.

Ingredients
800 grs. pink grapes
200 grs. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 white egg
Method
In a medium saucepan place the grapes, sugar, pinch of salt and 1 cup of water
Cook over medium heat until the grapes give off their juices, about 15 minutes. If you want to add more sugar (depending on the grapes)
Remove from heat cover and let stand about 30 minutes.
Strain the mixture through a fine colander, pressing for more flavor.
Pour the liquid into a metal dish,place in the freeze. Freeze by two hours.
Once solid, process it in a blender or food processor with egg white.
Again empty in the metal mold and refreeze by one hour more.
Before serving, stir for a while again.
Serve in o glasses or dessert dishes.
Keep the sorbet in the freeze.

Sorbete de uvas
La semana pasada hicie este sorbete de uvas rosadas en la playa, aprovechando el relax y la tranquilidad. La playa me relaja aunque igual trabajo. Es como todo más tranquilo. Además fuimos a un departamento más pequeño no es como la parcela que siempre hay que hacer. Lo pasamos muy bien!Y hubo harto sol!
Se me ocurrió hacer este sorbete de uvas (tenía la receta hace tiempo) con una uvas rosadas que no estaban muy dulces (quizas les faltó sol) el resultado fue delicioso a todos les gustó, asi que comparto con uds. la receta..
Esta receta está adaptada de Revista Paula de Abril 2001.
Ingredientes
800 grs. de uva rosada
200 grs. de azúcar
1 pizca de sal
1 clara de huevo
Preparación
En una olla mediana colocar las uvas con el azúcar, la pizca de sal y una taza de agua.
Cocinar a fuego medio revolviendo, hasta que las uvas desprendan su jugo, unos 15 minutos.
Probar y agregar más azúcar si fuera necesario.
Retirar del fuego, tapar y dejar reposar unos 30 minutos.
Colar la mezcla en un colador fino, (para quitarle las pepas y los hollejos de la uva)
Vaciar la mezcla en una budinera o recipiente de metal extendido, y llevar a congelar por unas dos horas.
Despues sacar procesar la mezcla del sorbete con una clara de huevo y volver a congelar por una hora más.
Antes de servir batir nuevamente un poco.
Servir en copas o platos de postre.
Mantener congelado.
Un sorbete de uvas, que delicia, nunca lo he probado de esta fruta.
