Really I enjoy make crumbles, I love all fruit's treats and a crumble you can eat at breakfast or when you like, the other day I made this plum crumble and we eat like a dessert, anyway I think these are the last season plums...
Remember you can make crumbles with other lovely fruits or berries.
Ingredients (6 servings)
3/4 kilo of plums (aprox)(with peel)
without seeds cut in quarters
2/3 cup of sugar
1 1/4 cups of flour all purpose
2 tablespoons of orange juice
1/2 cup golden sugar
pinch of salt
6 tablespoon of butter cold in cubes
1/2 cup of whole oats
1/2 cup almonds in slices
Method
Preheat the oven, 180°c.
In a bowl mix the plums in quarters, with 1/3 cup of sugar, 1/4 of flour
and the orange juice. Mix well and set aside.
Butter some ramekins or a large ceramic dish.
Arrange the plums in quarters in the ramekins.
Make the crumble:
In a bowl put the remaining flour, sugar golden sugar and whole oats and the pinch of salt.
Add the butter and with your hands make the crumble (like bread crumbles)
Finally add the almonds in slices and cover with the crumble the prune in the ramekins.
Bake at oven by 40 minutes or until the crumble look golden and cook.
Let cool and serve with vanilla ice or whippe cream .
We eat alone are delicious.
