I love seafood but specially prawns and really I made so nice dishes with them freeze or fresh. I live ate the country so sometimes I cannot have fresh seafood all the times. But really the freeze is so good and you may have in the Freeze when you find or remember a lovely dish how this.
Anyway I how to say here we love this type of dihes prawns puddins, seafood puddings, or seafood quiches, if you lovetoo see in my labels in seafood.
For the Moms I have to say the childs love this dish, the problem is always Gerardo Jr. want one more, oh My, sorry but for cost and others I make normally 4 or 6 I will try to put in the recipes how servings you may make, so you can double the recipe or reduce for two.
Ingredients (4 servings)
500 grs. prawns (fresh or freeze)
8 loaf day-old bread slices, torn into small pieces
1 tin evaporated milk
3 tablespoon of butter
1 onion, chopped
salt and pepper
100 ml white wine
50 grs. parmesan cheese
reserve some prawns to garnish
Method
In a bowl soak the bread pieces with the evaporated milk and let by 20 minutes.
In a sauce pan heat the butter to medium heat, add the chopped onion and cook until is transparent.
Seasoned with salt and pepper and add the prawns and cook for a while, add the white wine and cook by two minutes.Reserve,
To the mix of bread and evaporated milk you may processor or how I make normally beat with a hand beater because this type of bread is so soft.
Place this mix in a pot and cook to medium heat until begin thicknes, stir all time, add the prawns mix and join well.
Place the mix in little ramekin bowls and powder with parmensan cheese grated.
Bake at oven vy 15 minutes or until are little golden.
NOTE:1) you may use too a large oven proof dish.
2) if you want the mix more thick add two slices more of bread.
