I think in this recipe like a really special cake, moist, delicious, really we enjoyed this cake.
And cover with dulce de leche!
Like the site say "dont be afraid to put all these eggs", really is wonderful, only I adapted some ingredients I haven't ,but really I dont have problem!

Ingredients
350 grams poppy seeds( 14 oz)
8 eggs
170 grams grind almonds
1 3/4 cup sugar (3/4 for cake and 1 cup for syrup)
80 grams bread crumbs
80 grams semolina
3 tablespoon lemon juice
pinch of salt
1 3/4 cup heavy cream
1 tin or jar (397 grams)
dulce de leche, or caramel (Carnation)
1 tablespoon of milk
Method
Pour some boiling water over the poppy seeds and let them soak for 15 minutes.
Drain them and grind with a food processor or a meat grinder,
Pour some boiling water over the almonds, let them soak for 10 minutes, rinse with water and remove the skin.
Chop the almonds finely.
Separate egg yolks from whites. Put one yolk at a time to the poppy seeds, followed with a spoon of sugar (from the 3/4 cup sugar) and mix well after each addition. When all yolks and sugar is mixed, put the chopped almonds,lemon juice,semolina and bread crumbs and mix well.
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks from and lightly fold them into the poppy seeds batter.
Pour the batter into a round springform pan, and peheat oven to 180°c (350F) for 45 - 50 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the middle come out clean.
When the cake is cooling, make the syrup.
In a small saucepan heat the cream with the rest of sugar until it reduces by half and becomes golden.
Prick the top of the cake with a toothpick and slowly pour over the syrup until it is absorberd.
Let the cake cool completely. When is cool make the topping.
In a little pot heat dulce de leche with a tablespoon of milk until it becomes easily spreadable.
Cover the top of the cake with dulce de leche .
Let it for 15 minutes and slice the cake.

Cake con semilas de amapola
Esta receta muy especial con semillas de amapola y cubierta de dulce de leche o manjar viene de Lituania, de Mirja que tiene un blog precioso.
Es un que húmedo y liviano. Y pongan todos los huevos ya se que a veces uno dice un huevo menos pero en este caso mejor que no.
El bizcocho que siempre preocupa quedó perfecto y parejo.
Nota:
Si estoy un poco lenta para traducir perdonen pero llevo dos semanas enferma con una otitis terrible.
Me iré poniendo al día con las traducciones que faltan.
En todo caso pueden traducir tambien con el traductor que está más arriba.
Ingredientes
350 gramos de semillas de amapola
(se pueden comprar donde venden productos naturales es más barato)
8 huevos
180 gramos de almendras molidas
1 3/4 taza de azúcar, 3/4 para el cake y la taza para el syrup
80 gramos de semola
80 gramos pan rallado
3 cucharadas jugo de limón
pizca de sal
1 3/4 taza de crema espesa o para batir
1 tarro de dulce de leche
o 397 gramos de dulce de leche.(si lo compran listo)
1 cucharada de leche
Preparación
Poner en agua hirviendo las semillas de amapola.Y déjelas remojar por 15 minutos.
Colarlas y molerlas en un procesador o moledor manual.
Poner las almendras en agua caliente para retirar la cáscara.
Dejar por unos 10 minutos y retirar las cáscara fina que traen,
molerlas o picarlas finas.
Separar las yemas de las claras. En un bol poner una yema junto con las semillas de amapolas, batir con un tenedor, luego una cucharada de azúcar (de los 3/4 taza que se reservó para el almíbar)
Batir bien despues de cada adición . Despues que todas las yemas y azúcar han sido añadidos agregar las almendras molidas, jugo de limón, sémola y pan rallado, mezclando bien.
Batir las claras con una pizca de sal hasta que esten firmes y brillantes y entonces mezclar con la mezcla ya preparada con las semillas de amapola y demas ingredientes.
Precalentar el horno a 180° y preparar un molde redondo desmontable de unos 23 cm. y llevar a horno por unos 45 a 50 minutos o hasta que al enterrar un mondadientes salga limpio .
