I found this recipe in Bon Appetit and I've already done three times, especially the twins love it and my husband also.

A really delicious recipe!
Skip a step when you making mac and cheese by not precooking pasta.
Instead mix the dried pasta with a thinner bechamel sauce!
I done this yesterday and had not letfovers!

Ingredients
(6 servings)
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter,divided
1/4 cup all purpose flour
3 cups whole milk
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
500 grams macaroni or other pasta
2 cups sheredded cheese divided
2 garlic cloves chopped
1 cup panko (or breadcrumbs)
2 tablespoon chopped parsley or basil

Method

Preheat oven to 180° c ( 400 F)
Melt 1/4 cup butter in a large saucepan over medium  heat.
Add flour, cook whisking constantly for 1 minute.
Whisk in milk and 3 cups  water.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook, whisking often until a very thin  glossy sauce forms, about 10 minutes.
Stir 1 tbsp of salt and 1/2 tsp pepper.
Remove sauce from heat.
Toss pasta and 1 1/2 cup cheese in a 13x9x2" or other shallow baking dish.
Pour sauce over (pasta should be sumerged do not stir) and cover with foil.
Bake until pasta is almost tender about 20 minutes.
meanwhile melt remaining 1/4 cup butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic , panko or breadcrumbs and parsley and toss to combine. Season with salt.
Remove foil from dish.Sprinkle with remaining cheese and then add panko mixture.Bake until pasta is tender and edges are bubbling and top´is golden brown., about 10 minutes longer.

Quedan super ricos!

Ingredientes

1/2 taza de mantequilla
1/4 taza de harina sin polvos
3 tazas de leche entera
1 cucharada de sal
1/4 cucharadita pimienta negra molida

Bon appetit!
