Ingredients (4-5 servings)
500 grs. strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1tablespoon of water
1 teaspoon of vanilla
In a bowl mix strawberries sugar,cornstarch, water and vanilla. reserve.
Crust
3/4 cup of all purpose flour
1/4 tablespoon of baking powder
pinch of salt
100 grs. soft butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1 egg yolk
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla
Mix all the ingredients and make a ball. Place in the fridge.
Method
Put at the bottom of a pirex or baking dish and prepared strawberries.
Add by spoon over the dough mixture which was in the refrigerator.
Bake medium heat (180 °) for about 45 minutes or until surface looks dorada.Let cool before serving.

Postre de frutillas
Ingredientes(4 a 5 porciones)
500 grs. de frutillas
1/2 taza de azúcar
1 cucharada de maicena
1 cucharada de agua
1 cucharadita de vainilla
Masa
3/4 taza de harina
1/2 taza de azúcar
1/4 cucharadita de polvos de hornear
pizca de sal
100 grs. de mantequilla suavizada
Preparación
Mezclar las frutillas (en mitades si son grandes) más el azúcar, la maicena, el agua y la vanilla.
Colocar esta mezcla en el fondo de un pyrex o un molde para horno.
Masa
Mezclar la harina, polvos de hornear y la pizca de sal. Agregar la mantequilla, la yema y el azúcar, hacer una masa con los dedos y refrigerar.
Sobre las frutillas poner cucharadas de la masa ya preparada.
Cocinar en horno a temperatura media (180°c) Cocinar por unos 45 minutos o hasta que la mezcla esté dorada.
Dejar enfriar ligeramente antes de servir.
Se ve delicioso este postre.

ReplyDeleteLeyendo la receta en inglés la traducción mas apropiada para maicena es cornstarch, porque corn flour puede corresponder a corn meal o cornstarch.

ReplyDeleteStrawberries are the only thing I really care to eat since being pregnant. This dessert looks so simple, elegant and absolutely delicious. I'm sure I'd absolutely gobble it up with a spoonful of freshly whipped cream or just as it is. I can't wait for summer strawberries! Yum. Happy (near) Fall (Autumn).
