What's you may say about a Prawn's quiche only : is delicious!! I had this yummy dough recipe (I made differents quiches with salads I love them) and I want to make something with prawns.
(I saw a lot of prawns in Kevin's Blog http:/closetcooking.blogspot.com/ If you don't know visit his recipes are to die for, seriously)
And the prawn's filling was my own idea that I had about other quiches I always made.
At the right a little mini quiche that María Esperanza (daugther )make with . I think is so cute.
Ingredients
Ingredients
To dough
2 cups of plain flour
1 teaspoon of salt
100 grs. of margarine or butter
1 egg
1 quiche tin about 26 cm. diameter
Method
Mix the flour, salt and margarine or butter making crumbs, add the egg and join all well, the dough be smooth (if you think is a little dry add 2 spoonfuls of water only to moist)
Let the dough rest to normal temperature by 20 minutes.
Whein is ready with a roll pin extend the dough, greased the tin and powder with flour. Place the dough over the tin.Reserve.
Preheat the oven to medium heat.
Ingredients to filling
300 grs. of prawns
3/4 cup of double cream
4 eggs
40 grs. of grated cheese
salt
pepper
Method to filling
Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the double cream and prawns (You can use prawns freeze or fresh)) salt,peper and grated cheese, mix well.You may reserve someones prawns to garnish the center of the quiche.
Empty this mix over the tin with dough and place at oven by 30 minutes to medium heat. Will be ready when is a little golden and the mixture is firm.
We serve with salad of chopped lettuce and was so fine. You may serve with others salads too.

Què se puede decir de un Quiche de camarones??? que es delicioso, por lo menos para los que nos gusta la comida del mar.
Para los que piensen que a veces no hago tantas cosas de mar, es un problema solamente de costos, aquì es muy caro pero cuando voy al Super siempre me traigo algo como salmòn o camarones o choritos etc.
Hace dìas que estaba con la idea de los camarones porque voy mucho al Blog de Kevin y ha hecho tantos camarones!!! (Vean su blog es fantàstico y con fotos preciosas es http://closetcooking.blogspot.com/)
Tenìa una receta de masa de quiche que hago siempre (con espinacas, champiñones etc.) y el invento del relleno fue mìo pero no es dificil.
Mi hija hizo un mini,mini quiche con masa que me sacò y ahì lo pongo por que lo encuentro lindo so cute como dicen nuestros amigos.
Ingredientes masa
2 tazas de harina
1 cucharadita de sal
100 grs. de margarina o mantequilla
1 huevo
Un molde para tarta o quiche
Método:
Unir mezclando la harina,sal y la margarina o mantequilla haciendo como granulado, agregar el huevo y unir bien. Formar una masa uniforme y dejar descansar a temperatura ambiente por 20 minutos.
Precalentar el horno a fuego medio.
Cubrir el molde con la masa que extendemos con un rodillo (el molde engrasado y con harina) y reservar.
Relleno para quiche
Ingredientes
300 grs. camarones
3/4 taza de crema espesa
4 huevos
40 grs. queso rallado
sal y pimienta
Mètodo
Batir bien los huevos en un bowl o cuenco y agregar la crema espesa,luego los camarones o gambas (si son congelados, descongelarlos previamente y secarlos un poco), agregar sal y pimienta y el queso rallado, mezclar bien.
Si se quiere se reservan algunos camarones para adornar el centro del quiche.
Vaciar esta mezcla sobre el molde forrado con la masa y llevar a horno por unos 30 minutos fuego medio, estarà listo cuando este ligeramente dorado y la mezcla cuajada.
Se puede servir con ensaladas, nosotros lo comimos con ensalada de lechuga y fue estupendo.
