Tried & Taste Cook with Cynthia and blog about it
I made this recipe from the Blog of Cynthia that many of you know by her blog http://www.tasteslikehome.org/ to the Event TRIED & TASTE organized by Zlamushka of the blog http://www.burntmouth.com/ that was so kind to invite to participate.
So here I am the last day!! Sorry but I cannot made before .
Cynthia is writing a book so I find this recipe in her Blog and I think was so yummy and here is the original recipe The only difference is Cynthia use freeze strawberries and I use freeeze raspberries.(You can choose that you like more)

Ingredients
1 cup long grain white rice
4 cups whole milk
Condensed milk to sweeten to taste
1 small cinnamon stick
1/2 vanilla bean seeded
1/3 cup of raisins
1/4 cup of rum
For Raspberry sauce
2 cups of frozen raspberries, thawed
A few drops of lemon juice
Sugar to sweeten sauce to taste
Method
1.Soak raisins in rum and set aside.
2.Wash rice and strain excess liquid
3.In a heavy-bottomed pot combine milk,rice,cinnamon stick & vanilla bean and bring to boil.
4.Turn heat to very slow and let rice cook uncovered (approximately 1 hour)
5.10 minutes before the rice is finished,sweeten with condensed milk then stir in rum and raisins that have been melding together.
6.Set aside to cool
7. When the rice is cool enough you can chill it in the fridge.
Method raspberry sauce
1.Combine all ingredients in a blender and make puree.Pour this in a container and place in the freezer by 30 minutes before you are ready to serve the dessert.
2.At the 15 minute interval,give the sauce a stir and return it to the freezer.
These are a varierty of ways to serve:
You can place the rice pudding in individual glasses or bowls and top with raspberry sauce.
You can serve it buffet style rice pudding in a large dish and sauce in a jug for easy pouring/drizzling orthe sauce can be put in individual shot glasses.

BUDIN DE ARROZ CON SALSA DE FRAMBUESA
Esta super rica receta la hice por el evento Tried & Taste que organiza Zlamushka de http://www.burntmouth.com/ con las recetas de Cynthia de http://www.tasteslikehome.org/ , Cynthia para las que no la conocen tienen un precioso blog en Inglès principalmente de comida caribeña ella es de Barbados, comenta de cocina en un diario, tiene el blog, estupendas recetas y preciosas fotos, ahora està preparando un libro .
A mì me invitò a participar Zlamushka y me gustò la idea porque me atrae las comidas de paìses distintos y culturas distintas, la misma Cynthia dice siempre estoy aprendiendo, a mì me sucede lo mismo.
Hice la receta tal cual lo ùnico diferente es que yo tenìa frambuesas congeladas en vez de frutillas que es la receta original, pero creo que queda bien con cualquiera de las dos.
Ingredientes
1 taza de arroz blanco gran largo
4 tazas de leche entera
Leche condensada para endulzar al gusto (usè medio bote)
1 palo de canela para sabor
1/2 palito de vainilla sin las semillas
1/3 taza de pasas
1/4 taza de ron
Salsa frambuesas
2 tazas de frambuesas congeladas o frescas
jugò de 1/2 limòn
azùcar para endulzar la salsa (a gusto)
Mètodo
1. Remojar las pasas en el ron y dejar reposar por un rato.
2.Lavar el arroz y pasar por un colador para que estruje del exceso de agua.
3.En una olla (puede ser de teflòn porque el arroz se puede pegar) colocar la leche entera,el palo de canela y la vainilla, revolver hasta que enpiece a hervir.
4.Bajar el fuego al mìnimo, muy suave (yo lo pongo sobre el tostador que uso sòlo para el arroz) y dejar cocinar el arroz sin tapa revolviendo de vez en cuando, (cocciòn aproximadamente 1 hora)
5.Calcular unos 10 a 15 minutos antes de que el arroz estè listo y endulzar con leche condensada y agregar el ron y las pasas, revolver bien y dejar que se termine de cocinar.
6.Apagar el fuego y de jar que se enfrìe.
7.Cuando ya estè màs frìo llevar al refrigerador a enfriar.
Salsa de frambuesas
Combinar todos los ingredientes mencionados y moler tipo purè en una Juguera o procesadora.
Poner en un bowl y llevar al refrigerador por 30 minutos (ella dice Frizer pero yo creo que con el refrigerador està bien) antes de servir el postrep>
Cuando hayan pasado 15 minutos retirar, revolver y dejar nuevamente en el refrigerador.
Hay varias formas para servirlos : Se puede poner en copas o bowls y servir con la salsa de frambuesa como se ve en la foto.
Tambièn se puede servir tipo buffet y colocar el arroz en una fuente y poner la salsa en una jarra para que cada uno se sirva como quiera.
Pero yo no lo harìa tan libre,me descuidè con la salsa de frambuesas y mi hija le estaba colocando màs a su postre!
En esta ocasiòn, la receta viene en inglès y la traduje al español, asì que si tienen alguna duda preguntenme.
