In our chilean blogger group this month we have the seafood and fishes month and I made this shrimp curry with ginger and cilantro and was .....amazing, really are, try it and tell me :)
You can use (like all my recipes freeze or fresh shrimp or prawns)
I use freeze because I dont live side to the sea and when I buy someones I freeze them .

Ingredientes(6 servings)
2 tablespoon vegetal oil
500 grs. prawns or shrimp
(freeze or fresh)
1 red pepper in julienne without seeds
1 green pepper in julienne without seeds
2 green onions in slices
1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder or fresh
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon of curry powder
1 cup of milk coconut
salt
1 lemon (the juice)
1 tablespoon of cilantro chopped
Method
In a saucepan or wok, heat the oil over medium heat, saute a little praise shrimp, stir and remove the shrimp.
set aside
Reduce the heat from the fire add the julienne peppers, and green onions , cook for about three minutes.
Stir in garlic, ginger and curry. saute 2 minutes always stirring and pour the coconut milk.
Reduce heat and simmer again for about 6 minutes, season with salt to taste and add the shrimp apart then add the lemon juice and cilantro, stir, remove and serve with a little chopped cilantro immediately.

CURRY de camarones con jengibre y cilantro
En el grupo de bloggers chilenos es el mes del pescado y los mariscos lo que me encanta porque siempre estoy haciendo recetas de este tipo.
Encontré esta recet en una Paula antigua (diciembre 2006) y quedó absolutamente delicioso el toque de jengibre,leche de coco y curry muy rico.
Sepueden usar camarones o langostinos lo que tengan frescos o congelados.

Ingredientes (6 personas)
2 cucharadas de aceite vegetal
500 grs. de camarones o langostinos
1 pimiento rojo cortado en juliana
1 pimiento verde cortado en juliana
2 cebollines picados
1 diente de ajo picado fino
1/2 cucharadita de jengibre en polvo o fresco
1 cucharada de polvos curry1 taza de leche de coco
sal a gusto
1 limón (su jugo)
1 cucharada de cilantro picado fino
Preparación
En un sartén hondo o en un wok freir a fuego medio los camarones o langostinos, saltenaod unos dos minutos.
Bajer el fuego .Retirar y reservar.
Agregar al aceite los pimentos y los cebollines.
Cocinar unos 3 minutos.
Incorporar el ajo, jengibre y curry, incorporar bien revolviendo.Unos dos minutos aporximadamente y agregar la leche de coco.

shrimp and cilantro...two of my favorite things! yum. This looks like it would also be good thickened a little bit and served over rice.
