blueberry slump II










If you read my last post you understand why I title this Bluberry Slump II., normally when I translate some recipe I made when I post so I dont  have any draft of my  before post that was eraser with the comments.
Here I go again, this recipe is adapted from Saveur Magazine



I had save this recipe a lot of time I have a notebook  where I fix or write my next possible recipes when I find one I love it. And this I had from summer (our last summer) In this notebook I place all in english, french or spanish and I translate later.

This a delicious blueberry recipe but you can make with raspberries or strawberries .


Ingredients (5 serves)


2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tablespoon unsalted butter in cubes chilled (for crumble)
more 4 tablespoon of butter for dough
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup of blueberry


1. To make crumb topping, combine 1/2 cup of flour 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoon of chilled cuber butter, Make in a food porcesoor or in a bowl with your fingers until have  a  texture of coarse bread crumbs. Refrigerate by 30 minutes.

Heat oven at 200° c grease ramekins with butter and dust with flour; set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk remaining flour, baking powder, and salt. set aside.
In a measuring cup melted butter at microwaves.
In a large bowl  whisk together remaining sugar, vanilla and eggs until pale and thcik, about 2 minutes.
Add butter  and whisk until smooth. Add flour mixture mix until just combined, Divide batter beetween ramekins and top each with  blueberries. Sprinkle reserved  crumb topping evenly over berries .Put ramekins on a  baking sheet and bake until golden brown and bubbly,  about  40 minutes.
Transfer  to a rack and let cool by 20 minutes, if you like serve with scoops of Ice cream on top.

Postre de arándanos







El título de este post se debe simplemente que el post que había hecho desapareció por completo con comentarios y todo, de veras lo siento nunca me había pasado. Pero quien le alega a  Google.
Ayer en la tarde la cosa empezó que no se podía entrar a mi blog (ni a otros) y decía un mensaje "se arreglará pronto" pero no fue así.

Pero hoy mi sorpresa fue mayúscula cuando veo que se había borrado totalmente mi post por lo que heme aquí haciendolo de nuevo con traducción incluída.
Generalmente hago todo en el computador en forma directa, la receta y las traducciones así que no tenía un borrador o algo por el estilo.

Así que aqui voy de nuevo.
Esta receta está adaptada de Saveur Magazine
Cualquier cosa pregunten no tengo problemas. Al repetir la traducción puede haber algún error.
Esta receta está hecha con arándanos pero se puede hacer con fresas o frambuesas.


Ingredientes (5 porciones)

2 y 1/2 taza de harina
1 y 1/2 taza de azúcar
2 cucharadas de mantequilla sin sal
más 4 cucharadas de mantequilla para la masa
1 cucharadita de polvos de hornear
1/2 cucharadita de sal
1 cucharadita de extracto de vainilla
2 huevos
1 taza y 1/2 de arándanos
(frescos o congelados)


1. Para hacer el crumble combinar 1/2 taza de harina, 1/2 taza de azúcar  y 2 cucharadas de mantequilla sin sal en cubos helada.
En un procesador o en un bol hacer el crumble. Mezclando hasta que tenga el aspecto de migas de pan.
Refrigerar por 30 minutos

Calentar el horno a 200 ° c.  

Enmantequillar algunos cuencos de cerámica y  espolvorear con harina. Reservar.
En un bol mediano batir la harina restante, polvos de hornear y sal.
En un bol  derretir la mantequilla en el microondas.
En otro bol mezclar azúcar, vainilla, y huevos hasta que la mezcla esté espesa y pálida. (unos dos minutos)
Agregar la mantequilla derretida a la mezcla de huevos y vainilla.
Despues agregar mezcla de harina al batido de huevos   y  unir bien.
Repartir   esta mezclaen  los bols de cerámica y sobre estos repartir los arándanos ..
Espolvorear sobre los arándanos el crumble que estaba en el refrigerador.
Lleva a horno por unos 40 minutos.
Luego dejar enfriar por lo menos unos 20 minutos.
Si se quiere se puede servir con helado encima.

    Summer desserts like this slump are a family favorite. The blueberries shine and we always topped ours with vanilla ice cream.

  13. Que lata lo que te pasó ayer Gloria. Yo tampoco pude entrar a Blogger en casi todo el día, pero por suerte no perdín ningún post.
    Este postre de arándanos se ve super rico. Es un fruto que me encanta y que quizá debería utilizar más... hay que apuntarse la idea.

    Kako, lo que pasa es que se hace una masa liviand la fruta y despues el crumble, la mantequilla aunque no lo creas ya la disminuí, siempre la disminuyo a veces no es tan necesario tanta mantequilla. lo sé.
    Le puedes quitar al crumble un poco.

    I'd love to try it with blueberries too but I just used the last of the blueberry bounty as I wait patiently for blueberry season to come. (I knew I should have planted some blueberry bushes this year:)
