Chicken and zucchini Skewers (Brochetas de pollo con Calabacines)

This is a nice and simple recipe you may make in oven, BBQ or Grill. I prepared in oven , remember we are in winter, but sometimes we have cold but sunshines days. Really I dont find the translation to the word "brochetas" I find the word you use is skewers and sometimes used too "kabobs" but anyway I put some pictures to show them.

Here the skewers are so poulars now to make everything, meats, fruits, veggis, or some sweets at wedding parties, buffet and childs birthday too.

The only thing if you use to the oven (how this) is good soaked in hot water for about 20 minutes, so don't burn when the food is at the oven. Is all.

I add a yougourt sauce too to theses skewers.

I used medium zucchini but you may use that you have, I cut in slices to have all ready at the moment to make the kabobs.

At last the skewers ready to the oven with zucchini and chicken slices.

Cut the breast chicken in slices and the zucchini too.

The slices breast put in a bowl with oil, soya sauce salt and pepper by 20 minutes (and dont forget soaked the wooden skewers before)

Preheat the oven.

Make the kabobs place first one piece of chicken and then a piece of zucchini and repeat again. Aprox 4 zucchini slices and 4 or 5 pieces of chicken.

sal a gusto
