Pumpkin mousse shooters

 












When I made this the kids weren't really interested (normally eat pumpkin in savoy things)
but really I wasn't worry I knew was delicious:)
I love pumpkin in sweet and savoy things!
Anyway... they loved:)
Is really light and creamy.

Ingredients


1 fat free cream cheese (like philadelphia)
1 cup and half of pumpkin puree
or a can
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup of ricotta cream
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves
3 cups whipped topping cream divided


Method


Beat cream cheese in a medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth.
Add pumpkin (if you cooked mashed it) milk  ricotta cream  cinnamon  ginger and cloves and beat about 1 minute until smooth .
Mix with  1 1/2  cups whipped topping .
Finally divide the mousse in 6 glasses.
Cover and refrigerate about 1 1/2 hour.
Just before serving top each shooter with remaining whipped topping and some mints.

Mousse de zapallo  camote















Cuando hice este postre de zapallo los niños no mostraron mucho interés pero no me preocupé (igual son tan exigentes) ayer se pusieron a pelear si la cazuela debía llevar arroz o chuchoca todo porque ayer la hice con chuchoca la cazuela de pollo.
Como que el arroz me aburre prefiero con chuchoca o un poco de sémola queda super rica.

Bueno para no alargar el cuento les encantó el postre.
(normalmente el zapallo lo comen en cosas saladas o en sopaipillas) pero siempre les digo que hay que probar.

Ingredientes

1 queso crema tipo filadelfia
1 taza y 1/2 de puré de zapallo cocido
3/4 taza de leche
1 taza de ricotta
1 cucharadita de canela molida.
1/2 cucharadita de jengibre molido
1/8 de cucharadita de clavo de olor molido
3 tazas de crema batida dividida
(una parte dentro del mousse y la otra para adornar)

Preparación

Batir el queso crema en un bol mediano con batidora eléctrica
a velocidad mediana hasta que esté suave.
Agregar el zapallo molido la ricotta  la leche la canela el jengibre y el clavo de olor
Batir 1 minuto hasta que esté suave y cremoso.
Agregar 1 1/2 taza de crema batida e incorporar.
Repartir el mousse en 6 pocillos o copas
Llevar a rerigerar por lo menos 1 hora y 1/2.
Caundo esten listos agregar un poco de crema batida y adornar con hojas de menta.

    1. Thanks Betsy Is nice you have freeze puree normally I have freeze pumpkin in cubes (all the year) and used to a lot of things I think pumpkin is true versatile!:)

    1. Ja! no hablan tanto pero muchas veces discute acerca de comida y la cazuela es algo que les encanta mi preferida es de pollo o pavo con chochoca pero ala Esperanza les gusta con arroz! sigh!!

  33. Rosana algo tipico de acá que se usa en las cazuelas o sopas de pollo se puede reemplazar or un poco de polenta so sémola. besos

  35. Soy tan cobarde para innovar en la cocina que nunca se me habría ocurrido hacer este postre de zapallo y se ve muy muy rico.
    Yo también me aburro del arroz en las cazuelas, estos díás le he puesto chuchoca y caracolitos pequeñitos y a mi hijo le encanta.
