Lemon and yogurt cheescake

This was a really nice dessert. Anyway I love all with lemon  and greek yogurt.(or plain yogurt is OK)

Ingredients
 4 or 5 glasses
300 grs. grinded cookies
(vanilla or others)
1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
pinch of cinnamon powder
pinch of nutmeg powder
100 grs.melted butter
1/2 cup of sugar
220 grs. of philadelphia cheese
to room temperature
1/2 cup of cream
2 tablespoon of lemon juice
3 cps of greek yogurt or plain yogurt
berries to garnish and cinnamon powder

Method

Place cookies in a food processor along with the cinnamon powder, ginger and nutmeg. Grind well.
Place in a bowl, combine biscuit mix and add the melted butter. Stir well.
Spread this mixture into the cups and lightly press to be the base for cheesecake.

Mix cream cheese in a bowl until smooth, add  cream, and sugar.
Finally add the yogurt and lemon juice, it should be creamy but consistent
Spread this mixture into the cups, sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with a few raspberries or strawberries, refrigerate about two hours before serving.

Ingredientes

300grs. de galletas molidas(monito,de vino o de vainilla)
1/2 cucharadita jengibre en polvo
pizca de canela
pizca de nuez moscada
100 grs. mantequilla derretida
220 grs. queso crema tipo philadelphia
(temperatura ambiente)
1/2 taza de crema
1/2 taza de azúcar
2 cucharadas de jugo de limón
3 tazas yogurt griego o natural soporle

  1. Good Greek yoghurt is the best. But I don't like the fake kinds where they add gur gum and gelatine. Yuck.

    Happy Eating :-)

  26. Hi Gloria,

Yes, I think the chart will help. I had to have Grandson-in-law translate it for me so that I could understand what it said, but now I should be okay.

I am hoping that when I feel better that I will be able to try some of these recipes. They all look so delicious. Right now we seem to be just eating very simple meals or things that are prepared and just need to be cooked.

I just cannot seem to get rid of this bug and between the headaches and weakness, I am just too tired to do much. One day I cannot sleep very well and the next day I am sleeping the whole day barely able to stay away at all. And even then I am still so tired. I forgot to get my flu shot this year and I think I am just getting one flu after another. I also suffer from chronic bronchitis along with asthma so my breathing for the last few months has been suffering. I could go on but too many things going on. I have been on meds and have to pretty much fight this on my own, which is probably why I am so tired.

Anyway, sorry I was so slow but I did not understand what it said. My Spanish is very basic so having it translated totally helps.

Thank you so much for getting it for me. I really do appreciate it. And I should probably try to eat more yogurt, this looks like a good way to eat it. Thanks for this recipe.

    God bless.
